Terms and conditions
In short: you get a fixed price in writing, pay 50% at the start and 50% before handover, and the site, texts and images made for you are yours once paid in full. Details below.
1. Who we are and when these terms apply
RAGANA Studio, Raul Gabriel Nagy, Eper utca 16, 5830 Battonya, Hungary (“we”). These terms apply to all services: websites, online shops, Google profiles, individual services, monthly care and ads management.
2. Offer and contract
Prices on the website and in the calculator are indicative. The contract is formed when you accept our offer in writing (email or WhatsApp is enough) and pay the deposit. Anything not listed in the offer is not included.
3. Prices and payment
Payment is by bank transfer, in euro or the currency on the invoice, within 7 days of the invoice date. For websites and shops: 50% deposit at the start and 50% before handover. The site goes live on your domain once paid in full.
Monthly care and ads management are paid in advance, monthly or yearly. If an invoice remains unpaid after a reminder, we may pause work or services until it is paid.
4. What we need from you
To work, we need your materials: texts (unless we write them), photos, logo, business details and access to accounts (for example your Google profile). The delivery deadline starts on the day we have everything.
If a project is on hold for more than 60 days because we are waiting for materials or answers from you, we may invoice the work done so far and close the project.
5. Included revisions
Before building, you get a design draft with one round of changes. After building, one more round of corrections is included (texts, images, colours). Further changes or a change of concept are done on the basis of a quote you approve first.
6. Deadlines and guarantees
Fixed deadline: Starter or Premium site in 7 working days, online shop in 14 working days, from receipt of all materials. Delays caused by missing materials or answers move the deadline.
PageSpeed 90+: at handover, the home page scores at least 90 for Performance in Google PageSpeed Insights on mobile. If not, we optimise it for free until it does. The guarantee no longer applies if very large images, scripts or external services (chat, ads, trackers) that slow the site are added later; optimising those is done on request and charged.
Testing before handover: every site is tested automatically with artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic) and Google tools. You receive the test report together with the site.
We do not guarantee specific Google rankings, recommendations by AI assistants, visitor numbers or sales: these also depend on competition, the market and Google's decisions.
7. Rights and ownership
Once paid in full, the site, texts, images and logo made specifically for you belong to you, and you may use them without limit. The domain is registered in your name.
The editing panel (RAGANA Edit) and our tools remain our property; you may use them for your site while care is active.
You confirm that you hold the rights to the materials you send us (photos, texts, logo). We may show the project in our portfolio; if you don't want that, tell us in writing.
8. Hosting, care and what happens if you cancel
Hosting for the first year is included in the package. After the first year, hosting is part of monthly care (€99 a month), which includes daily backups, monitoring, security scans, the SSL certificate and a monthly report.
Care can be cancelled with 30 days' notice to the end of a month. The site stays online until the end of the paid period. When it ends, you get the complete site archive (files, texts, images) free of charge. Moving it to your own hosting is available on request for €99. For the site's security, the editing panel only works while care is active.
9. Domain and third-party services
You pay for the domain directly to the registrar, in your name. We remind you 30 days before renewal, but paying it is your responsibility.
Some features use services of other companies (Google, Meta, Stripe, Netopia, SimplePay, WhatsApp, Hostinger). Their own terms and prices apply. You pay any ad budget directly to Meta or Google.
10. Legal texts: templates, not legal advice
The privacy policy, cookie banner, legal notice and, for shops, the terms of sale, right of withdrawal and delivery information are templates adapted to the details you give us. We are not lawyers, and these texts are not legal advice. You remain responsible for your business's legal compliance; we recommend having them checked by a lawyer, especially for online shops.
11. Liability
We are liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the value of the order concerned. We are not liable for lost profits, outages of third-party services or content you add yourself.
12. Consumers
If you order as a private individual, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days. If you ask us to start work within that period, you pay for the part of the service provided until you withdraw; once the service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal ends.
13. Applicable law
Hungarian law applies. Consumers keep the mandatory protections of their country of residence. For businesses, the courts at our place of business have jurisdiction. Changes to the contract must be made in writing; email is sufficient.
