Websites for dental and medical practices

Website design for dentists and doctors

A calm, clear practice website: patients find treatments, opening hours and the way to you, and your reception gets fewer calls with the same standard questions.

Website design for dentists and doctors is about clarity and calm, not about loud advertising. Patients look online before they call a practice, and many of them are nervous. A tidy website with treatments, team, opening hours and directions answers their questions before the phone rings. That takes pressure off your reception and brings patients who already know what you offer.

What a practice website has to do

A patient looking for a new practice searches "dentist" or "dermatologist" plus the town on Google and Google Maps. Then they compare. They want to know which treatments you offer, whether you take public insurance or private patients, when you are open and how to reach you. They want to see who will treat them. And they want to know how to get an appointment without waiting on hold. A good practice website answers this in plain words, without medical jargon and without promises of results. The texts stay factual, as professional rules for doctors require. The contact form does not ask for health details. Many practices also have patients who speak another language, so the site can be offered in several languages. Your Google Business Profile shows the same hours and the same phone button, because many patients decide on the map.

What you get

Treatments in plain words

Each treatment gets a short, clear explanation. No jargon and no promises of results, just what happens and who it is for.

Treatment list with estimate

The patient ticks the treatments they are interested in and sees a cost estimate. The page states clearly that the final price follows an examination.

Team page

Photos and a few lines about each dentist, doctor and assistant. Seeing faces takes away some of the worry before a first visit.

Several languages

Patients switch the language with one tap. Useful in border regions and in towns with many international residents.

Easy to read

Large type, strong contrast and a light and dark mode. Older patients can read the site comfortably on a phone.

Opening hours you control

An "open now" badge follows your opening hours. With the edit panel you change hours and holiday closures yourself.

Example: a website for a dental practice

Example: the demo site Lumen Dental, built as a Premium website. The first section shows a short video of the practice, the opening hours and a button for an appointment request. Below it is the treatment list: check-ups, fillings, implants and children's dentistry, each with a short explanation. The patient ticks what they need and sees an estimate. The team page introduces everyone with a photo. A blog answers common questions, such as what to do after an extraction. The site runs in several languages and in light or dark mode.

Live demo

This is how your website can look.

The demo shows an invented business with the tools that fit your trade. Try them on your phone. Your site gets your own texts, photos, prices and colours.

Common questions

Is a practice allowed to advertise at all?

Factual information is allowed and useful for patients. Loud advertising and promises of results are not. I write the texts in an informing tone. The check against the professional rules in your country stays with you or your chamber, because I am not a lawyer.

Can patients book appointments online?

They can send an appointment request. In the Starter website the request reaches you as a WhatsApp or e-mail message, and your reception confirms the time. A calendar that shows live free slots needs a booking system. That is a Premium feature or an extra. If you already use a booking system, I link to it.

What about data protection?

The appointment request asks only for name, contact and preferred time, not for health details. The privacy notice is written to match the tools the site really uses. For questions about your own patient records, please ask your data protection adviser.

Starter or Premium: which fits a practice?

A single dentist or doctor with a short list of treatments is well served by the Starter website at €1,490. A practice with several clinicians, a team page, a blog and more than one language needs more pages. That is the Premium website at €2,990.
