How much does a website cost?
The short answer, my fixed prices, and every cost that comes after launch, so there are no surprises.
The short answer
A website for a small business in Europe usually costs somewhere between a few hundred and several thousand euros. The difference comes from who builds it, how many pages it has, who writes the text and whether it is set up for Google. Below are the usual ranges, then my exact prices.
Freelancer
€500–5,000
Quality varies a lot. Ask exactly what is included: text, hosting, domain, Google profile, legal pages.
Agency
€5,000–20,000 and more
A team and processes, usually hourly rates for changes later. The right choice for large projects.
Rough ranges. Real quotes depend on the country, the experience and what exactly is included.

What makes a website cost more or less
Number of pages
One page with 6 sections is enough for many small businesses. But every service with its own page shows up in more Google searches.
Who writes the text
Good text, based on what customers really search for, is half the result. With me it is included.
Online shop
Card payments, shipping, products and automatic emails take more work than a brochure site.
More languages
German and English, or Romanian and Hungarian: every language means new text and separate pages for Google.
Google and speed
A fast, properly indexed site and a complete Google profile cost a little more, but they bring the enquiries.
Changes you make yourself
With the editing panel you change text, prices and photos yourself, with no hourly bills.
Costs after launch
A domain usually costs €10–20 a year and you pay it directly, in your company's name. First-year hosting is included. After that you either pay the hosting company directly or choose monthly care. There are no other mandatory costs.
What to check in any quote
- The domain is registered in your company's name, not the designer's.
- You get the login details for hosting and domain.
- It is clear what later changes cost: fixed price or hourly?
- Cookie banner, privacy policy and legal notice are included, not extras.
- Mobile speed: ask for a PageSpeed score. I guarantee over 90.
FAQ
Why do your English prices match the German ones?
The English page is for clients all over Europe, so it uses the same price level as my German-speaking market. Clients in Romania and Hungary see their local prices on the Romanian and Hungarian pages.
Are there hidden costs?
No. The quoted price is fixed. The only separate costs are the domain, which you pay directly, and monthly care if you want it.
How long does it take?
A Starter or Premium site is ready 7 working days after I have your material, an online shop in 14.
Do you work with clients outside Hungary?
Yes. I work with clients in Romania, Austria, Germany and elsewhere, by phone, video and email. You see the draft in your browser before anything goes live.
