Menu as real text
The menu is part of the page, not a download. It is easy to read on a phone, and Google can read every dish too.
Websites for restaurants, bistros and cafes
Hungry people decide fast. Your website shows the menu, the opening hours and a way to reserve a table, all on the first screen of a phone.
Restaurant website design starts with a simple fact: your guest is hungry and holding a phone. They want to see the menu, the prices, whether you are open and how to get a table. If the menu is a file that will not open, they go somewhere else. I build restaurant websites where these answers are on the first screen and load at once.
People search "restaurant" or "pizza" plus the town on Google and Google Maps, often while they are already walking or sitting in the car. Tourists do the same in a town they do not know. They look at photos, stars and opening hours, then they tap through to the website. There the menu has to be readable as normal text on a small screen, with prices, and with a quick way to find vegetarian dishes. The opening hours must be right, including the kitchen closing time and your rest day. A table request must take a few taps. And for a birthday or a company dinner, people want a rough idea of the cost before they ask. Your Google Business Profile has to show the same hours and the same menu link, because a guest who finds a closed door does not come back.
The menu is part of the page, not a download. It is easy to read on a phone, and Google can read every dish too.
Guests tap a filter and see only vegetarian dishes or the chef's picks. Nobody has to scroll through the whole menu.
The guest chooses the number of guests, the day and the time and sends the request. You confirm it with one reply.
For parties and company dinners: the guest enters the number of people and the kind of menu and sees a price range.
A small badge shows whether you are open at this moment. It follows the opening hours you set in the edit panel.
One tap opens the route in the guest's map app, another tap calls you. Useful for visitors who do not know the town.
Example: the demo site Bistro Oliva. The first screen shows a photo of the dining room, the "open now" badge and two buttons: reserve a table and see the menu. The menu follows as text with prices, and filters show the vegetarian dishes or the chef's picks. In the reservation section the guest picks guests, day and time. A calculator gives a price range for a group dinner. Below are the Google stars with a review slider, a gift voucher request, the route button and a WhatsApp button with a message already written.

The demo shows an invented business with the tools that fit your trade. Try them on your phone. Your site gets your own texts, photos, prices and colours.

Read the case study ›In the Starter website, no. The guest sends a request with guests, day and time, and it reaches you as a WhatsApp or e-mail message. You confirm it or suggest another time. A calendar with live free slots needs a booking system. That is a Premium feature or an extra.
You do, with the edit panel. You change dishes, prices, photos and opening hours yourself from your phone. A new daily special or a changed price is online in a moment, and you do not have to wait for me.
Social pages are good for photos and news. But a guest who wants the menu, the prices and a table should not have to scroll through posts. The website gives these answers on one screen, and it belongs to you, whatever a platform changes.
Phone photos taken in daylight are usually enough to start. Send me what you have and I choose and edit the best ones. I also write the texts from your notes, so you do not have to write anything yourself. The fixed price for the Starter website is €1,490.
