5 signs your website is losing customers every day
An old website doesn't throw errors. It just stays quiet. Customers come in, don't find what they need and leave for a competitor without telling you why.

The most dangerous thing about a weak website is that it doesn't tell you when you lose a customer. Nobody sends a message saying “I left”. These five signs show it's already happening.
## 1. On a phone you have to pinch to read
Most visitors of a local business come on a phone. If the site isn't built for a small screen, people don't struggle: they close it and pick the next result.
## 2. It loads slowly
If the page doesn't appear within a few seconds, visitors hit “back”. And Google ranks fast sites higher.
## 3. You can't find the phone number at first glance
A number hidden at the bottom of the footer, or no WhatsApp button, means extra steps. Every extra step loses people.
## 4. Prices, hours or photos are outdated
A menu from 2021 or photos of a place that looks different today tell customers: “nobody looks after this anymore”. Then they don't trust you either.
## 5. The browser says “Not secure”
Without an SSL certificate, Chrome shows “Not secure” next to the address. Many people leave at once, especially if they're asked to fill in a form.
## How to check in 5 minutes
Open your site on a phone, on mobile data, not Wi-Fi. Count the seconds. Try to call or message directly from the page. If you got annoyed even once, your customers do too.
