Logo design

A logo people recognise at a glance.

Your logo is the first thing customers see: on the sign, the van, the box, in Google Maps. If it looks improvised, the business looks improvised.

Many small businesses have a logo made in a hurry, in Word or a free app, sometimes only as a small image with no original file. On the website it's blurry, the printer can't enlarge it, and it looks different on every item. A professional logo is simple, vector-based and comes with every file you need.

Why a properly made logo pays off

Trust. Customers judge a business in seconds. A clean logo and consistent colours say you work with care before anyone reads a word.

Recognition. The same logo and colours on your website, Facebook, sign and receipts. After a few encounters, customers know you without reading the name.

And you'll use it for years. A vector file scales to any size, from the website icon to the sign on the building, without losing quality.

What you get

Vector logo

SVG, PDF and PNG files for screen and print, on light and dark backgrounds.

Variants

Full logo, symbol on its own and an icon for your website and social profiles.

Colours and fonts

With brand identity: a colour palette with exact codes and the chosen fonts.

Simple rules

One page of rules: how to use the logo, clear space, what not to do.

Canva templates

Optional: ready-made posts and materials in your logo and colours.

Full rights

Once paid, the logo is yours, with all source files.

Example: a logo for a mobile dog groomer

An illustrative example, not a real client. A one-person mobile dog groomer serving locals and expats uses a name typed in a free app next to a paw print from the internet. It looks different on Instagram than on the van, and the sign maker asks for a vector file nobody has.

Here the logo on its own is enough, at €199. It has to read from a distance on the van, small as an Instagram profile picture and on business cards, so the mark is simple, with bold lines and two colours, and no words that only work in one language. You see the two or three directions on the van and a Google profile, not on a blank page.

You pick one, we refine it in one round of changes, and you get SVG, PDF and PNG files for light and dark backgrounds. Since most bookings come through social media, the €99 Canva templates add ready-made posts. That's €298 in total, usually done in about a week.

5 common logo mistakes

No original file

Many businesses only have their logo as a small image, once saved from Facebook. On the website it's blurry, and the printer can't enlarge it for a sign or van. Always ask whoever makes your logo for the vector file (SVG or PDF) and keep it in two safe places.

Too much detail

An intricate drawing with fine shadows and small text looks good on the big screen where it was made. As a phone icon, on a stamp or on a passing van, it turns into a smudge. Check your logo at thumbnail size: it has to stay recognisable there.

Too many colours and effects

Gradients, shadows and five colours look impressive on a monitor, but they're hard to print, costly to embroider and vanish in black-and-white. A good logo works in two colours and stays clear on a dark background. Put effects on the website, not in the logo.

A symbol taken from the internet

Clip art or a free template can turn up at dozens of other businesses, sometimes in the same trade. Customers can't tell you apart, and the usage rights are often unclear. A logo drawn for you is yours once paid, with every file.

Used differently every time

Stretched to fill a gap, a different colour on Facebook, another font on your quotes: that's how recognition gets lost. Fix one version, the exact colours and the clear space around it. That's exactly what the rules page in a brand identity is for.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep my old logo?

Yes. If you like it, I redraw it cleanly as a vector without changing it. Your customers will still recognise it.

Do you use AI?

Sometimes for ideas. The final logo is drawn as a vector by hand, so it's unique and safe to use legally.

How long does it take?

Usually within a week of our chat, depending on how quickly you choose.

Can I order a logo without a website?

Yes, the logo can be ordered on its own.

What's the difference between a logo and brand identity?

The logo (€199) is the mark itself, with variants and every file. Brand identity (€399) adds a colour palette with exact codes, fonts and a rules page. It's worth it when the logo goes on many things: sign, vehicle, workwear, packaging.

What should I prepare for our first chat?

A few words about the business and your customers, your current logo if you have one, and two or three logos you like, even from other trades. Tell me where it will appear too: sign, vehicle, packaging or only online. We sort out the rest by talking.

Which file do I use where?

SVG or PDF for the printer, signs, vehicle lettering and embroidery, because they scale without loss. PNG for your website, Word, email and social media. At handover I tell you which file goes where, so you don't have to guess.
